Greg recently made another recording of Adrianna singing that I thought I would share. You should be able to right-click to do a “save as” (or “save link as” in Firefox) to your computer. Or you can just click on the link to listen to it online. ABC, Oh Where, Beautiful Puppies medley The part […]

Bouncing Off the Walls
Today IÂ thankful that Greg is not only grocery shopping but also that he offered to take Adrianna with him so I could have a few moments of peace. Adrianna has been bouncing off the walls today.
Babies in Tummies
Adrianna often tells me that she has a “baby in her tummy” too. She will try to pooch her little belly out as far as it will go and asks me if I want to feel the baby. She is also starting to use it as an excuse to try to get out of chores […]
Adrianna’s Favorite Thing about Fall
Today in preschool, the kids were asked to draw a picture of their favorite thing from the fall season. Adrianna drew a picture of the two pumpkins we bought at the pumpkin patch over the weekend. One large, one small, just like the actual pumpkins that she and Greg had picked out. In her drawings, […]
Writings
Adrianna is learning a lot at preschool and lately has been excited to write her letters for me at home. Her latest thing has been to ask me to spell out a word of her choice and she will write the letters out on paper. There are a few that she doesn’t know how to […]
Blowing Away and Jump-Roping
This morning, Adrianna has been full of imagination. As she twirled around and around, arms open wide. Adrianna: Mommy, look! I am blowing away! Me: Oh no! Where are you blowing to? Adrianna: I am blowing away to South Dakota. And just a few minutes later, as she played with a long ribbon. Adrianna: I […]
Best Friend
Adrianna: Mommy, I love you. Me: I love you too! Adrianna: You are my bestest friend. I want to keep you forever. She has been telling me this often lately. Oh, how I want this to be true forever too.
The Flu Hits the Reimer Household
Adrianna came down with a high fever on Saturday evening. It continued all weekend, getting as high as 104 but usually hovered around 102. She didn’t have any other symptoms (other than the expected lack of energy and appetite) until Sunday evening when she developed a gross-sounding cough and chills, so I took her to […]
Pumpkin Patch
Today, we enjoyed a beautiful afternoon at the pumpkin patch at Cottonwood Farms in Boulder. It isn’t really fancy, but admission is free, which is nice. They also have a hay bale maze and a corn maze. We ended our day with a delicious meal at PF Changs.
Lite Brite
Today, I got to watch Adrianna wiggle and giggle with joy as she played with an old-school Lite Brite. It is one from my childhood. My mom was going to sell it but I grabbed it first. 🙂
