Bree and Cate share a room, which means that bedtime often finds them playing rather than going to sleep. Last night, Cate kept getting out of bed was being generally loud, so Greg went in and told her that she had one last chance to be quiet and stay in her bed; something along the lines of “I don’t want to hear another peep or you’ll have to go sleep by yourself in the guest room.”
He had barely left the room when he heard Cate giggling again. When he told her to get up and go to the guest room, she protested, “But I peeped in my own bed!”
