Adrianna made Bree an Oreo cake for her upcoming birthday. She even made everything (except the oreos themselves) from scratch. We may have to celebrate a day or two early, as we all can’t wait to try it! Doesn’t it look delicious?

Moose and the Guitar
Bree is taking a class on Outschool to practice Language Arts / Grammar. One of the sentence examples that she and her teacher came up with for a recent lesson was “Moose is playing the guitar.” Bree thought that was a fun idea, so she drew a picture for the sentence and proudly showed it […]
Built-in Shelves
Adrianna asked Greg to build her some adjustable shelves in her closet. It’s been a few months in the works, as it included clearing out her entire room so they could paint, too. But the finished result is worth it! They turned out beautifully. Now I am thinking he may need to make ME some […]
Christmas Tree
Put up the Christmas tree this weekend. Greg talked me into getting a real tree this year. I was hesitant. Not only because of the extra work, but also I feel bad that a tree has to be cut down and essentially die for the tradition. But it ended up being an enjoyable time picking […]
Pretty Leaves
The girls enjoyed finding beautiful leaves on our last neighborhood walk.

Our October – One Second Every Day
Halloween
We originally had not planned on trick-or-treating this year, making plans for some fun activities as a family at home. (The “Great Pumpkin†visiting and hiding candy being one of them. In part, to make up for the Easter Bunny’s failure to show up in April due to pandemic mental fatigue.) But when I saw […]
Another Lost Tooth
Cater-tot lost her first top-front tooth. It’s been dangling for a bit and last night it was barely hanging on. In fact, it fell out only moments after snapping this picture. She asked for a dollar coin. The tooth fairy has really slipped in her tooth-gathering duties, so I made a point to make sure […]
