An original story by Adrianna.
Once upon a time, there was a butterfly named Alicia. Alicia used to be a boy named Bob and she used to eat a lot. But now she could only drink. She liked drinking nectar. She liked landing on flowers.
One day, Alicia was looking for nectar and she saw a pretty girl with a pretty dress with pretty colorful flowers on it and she went to land on it. The little girl screamed, not knowing what was tickling her. The mom and dad took a picture of the beautiful butterfly. The girl didn’t know what it was. They showed her the picture and told her it was a butterfly on her shoulder. They caught the butterfly and gave it food. They put it in a cage with a bunch of flowers. Every day, they planted more flowers in the butterfly’s cage. Then, the butterfly didn’t have enough to eat so one day, she flew out when the mom opened the door.
The girl was named Ashley. Ashley ran out to chase the butterfly. Alicia flew faster. The girl wanted the butterfly. The butterfly went and landed on a flower once the girl lost her. But Ashley found her. Alicia flew very fast. She wasn’t getting enough to eat. The mom and dad told Ashley that they could get another butterfly someday.
The butterfly was not happy though. But one day, the girl found her.
“My Butterfly!”, she yelled.
Ashley brought back the butterfly. Her mom and dad were surprised! But then, the butterfly didn’t get any to eat. The mom and dad were out of seeds to plant the flowers. They went and picked some and put dirt on the stems and put them in the cage. Then the butterfly ate them, but she still didn’t get enough. The butterfly would make a sound when she was hungry and whenever she would make the sound, the mom and dad and Ashley would bring her more flowers. The butterfly was getting enough to eat.
When Ashley was sleeping, the mom and dad let her go. The butterfly got enough to eat. The mom and dad told the girl that soon they’d catch another butterfly for her.
The end.
I love it! Lots of “A” names … 🙂
