Our homeschool co-op had a field trip to our local science museum. It included an IMAX movie, Turtle Odyssey, which was in 3D.
We also went to the “Science Behind Pixar” exhibit, which was really cool! Not only was there fun photo ops with favorite characters, but there was information on all different parts of putting together a Pixar movie, with a lot of hands-on experiences for the kids. Sound effects, camera angles, how lighting (and color) can affect the mood of a scene, the different pieces of animation (from facial expressions to motion such as blowing hair, movement), etc. I was excited for my artistic girls to see all the possibilities.
