Yesterday while we were at the Denver Museum of Nature and Science, I made a trip to the bathroom. When I returned to where Greg and Adrianna were sitting in the cafe, Adrianna loudly announced, “Mommy, did you get all the diarrhea out?”
Embarrassed, I replied that I didn’t have diarrhea. She then loudly asked, “Did you go poop then?”
Later in the day, we made a trip to Lowe’s with Greg. Adrianna was excited to ride in the shopping cart they have that looks like a car, complete with steering wheels. While we waited for Greg to make his selections, Adrianna told me that her name was “Enya” (from the “beautiful song” she likes) and I had to call her Enya for the remainder of our time there.
Shortly before bedtime, Adrianna put on her sunglasses, boa, and a big necklace and became Gracie Girl. Once again, I was firmly told that Adrianna had went bye-bye and that I was to call her Gracie Girl.
Grammy called us tonight and was talking on the phone with Adrianna. Grammy asked Adrianna how Teddy was doing, knowing Adrianna’s love for her bear. Adrianna quickly responded, “He’s sick. He has diarrhea. He went diarrhea and got some on the floor and there were germs in the potty.”
Greg and I were going crazy with laughter as we listened to her talk on and on about Teddy Bear’s ailments. I love her active imagination.
Oh my goodness, I would have been rolling too! 🙂 That’s so funny, Amber! 😉 Thanks for sharing.
You know…Aidan loves to blurt out when he is pooping or poopy…Layla likes to ask me if i “poop in my underwear too” and i say no big girls don’t poop in underwear and she replys…”I poop in my underwear and make you sad member?”
