Adrianna has made two Christmas wish lists during this past week. Both were done without help or guidance. I love how she is taking the initiative to sound out and write words on her own.
This one was from several days ago.

Translation:
For Christmas, I want Barbies. For Christmas, I want a toy cake. For Christmas, I want a doll house. For Christmas, I want Polly Pockets.
When I asked what the words in the grid were for, she told me they were “for a test”. I guess she was giving herself a test?
Here is her list she made this morning.
Translation:
This stuff is for Adrianna. I <want?> a sled for Christmas. For Christmas, I want Polly Pockets. For Christmas, I want a doll house. For Christmas, I want a doll.
I am seeing some common themes among the two lists. I guess I need to go shopping.
And here is a sweet little love letter she made to Greg and I tonight.

Good thing we got her something on her “crismis” list. Good phonetic spelling. 🙂
