Easter Egg Hunt

Our church, Foothills Community, held a “Cosmic Easter Egg hunt” today. The Easter Egg hunt was considered “Cosmic” because it was held inside in a dimly lit room with black lights.  Outside, there were different games to be played, face painting, balloon animals, two bouncy castles, and a petting zoo.

Adrianna was too nervous to pet many of the animals, although she didn’t mind petting the little bunny rabbits. She wore her Hippo basket as a “Hippo Hat” prior to the Easter Egg hunt.

Adrianna also played several games; a ring toss, frisbee toss, and even “baseball.” With Greg’s help swinging the bat, she hit two out of three!

The Easter Egg Hunt was a success. She gathered many eggs until her basket was full. Afterwards, she enjoyed the bubble machine.

Then we stood in a long line for the face painting. Adrianna requested “balloons” to be painted on her cheek.

It was a fun way to spend our afternoon. Adrianna had a good time and has been napping for almost two hours now. I suppose I had better wake her up so we don’t mess up her bedtime too terribly.

  1. Looks like fun! We are having a Moonlight Egg Hunt Friday night. I went to help fill 20,000(!) eggs with candy this morning.

  2. I love her hippo hat/basket. Makes me smile each time. What a great way to enjoy it.
