So on my way to work today, my car decided to do a 180 (while making a left turn from I-225 onto Alameda) on a snowy & busy road, ending up with me facing oncoming traffic! Thankfully, since I had a green arrow, most of the other traffic was still stopped at a red light and I was able to back up and get turned back around. Those roads were slick today!! I don’t think that one had been plowed very good, if at all. Surprising since it is a major road in Aurora.
It took me almost 2 hours to do what normally takes 30 minutes to get to work. I did think about taking the 4wd, but didn’t want to shovel the snow off so I took to corolla instead. I was glad for its new tires though!
