Adrianna and I spent a few hours at the zoo today. It was a perfect day; in the mid-seventies but overcast so the sun wasn’t beating down on us. Adrianna was very good about riding in the stroller or holding my hand the entire time. And now that she is older and we can have conversations, it was a fun and pleasant mother/daughter day and I enjoyed myself very much.
We got to see a lot of goslings around the zoo today. They are so adorable.
We also saw a peacock doing its thing.
We took a ride on the carousel and the train. Adrianna insisted on riding the peacock bench on the carousel.
And then we ended our afternoon with some yummy ice cream.
What a fun mommy/daughter outing. Looks like the day was perfect!
That sounds like so much fun. I kinda miss the Just E and Me days. I know we’ll have them again, but sometimes I think it’d be nice to take a few hours to go to the zoo, just the 2 of us. Maybe I will when Sophia starts eating solids. I love the little conversations we can have now too. Last night we were lying in bed and neither of us could sleep right away and I said, “you wanna talk?” Ethan said “Si” and then there was a long pause. So I said, “so whatcha thinking about?” He says, “I’ve got a booger stuck to my nose.” Another long pause. What do you say to that? Okey Dokey then. Glad we had this talk. Goodnight.
oh yeah and I wanted to say, I dont know but she looks a lot like Greg to me in those pictures. I always thought she looks so much like you but now I can see Greg in her too. She’s very beautiful, that’s for sure.
