Bree at 14 Months

Breezy is now 14 months old. A few things about Bree at 14 months.

She still flashes her adorable, cheesy, squinchy, smiley face that I just LOVE.

She is still not walking or showing much desire to do so.

We are at the stage where random things show up in our drawers and drawer contents often end up on the floor. We have a Lego command center containing 5 drawers. Greg organized it so each drawer contains different types of legos (bricks in one, special pieces in one, flat pieces in one, etc.). Bree loves to grab handfuls from one drawer and place them in another. So much for organization. (Granted, I am sure many of the pieces were already out of place due to it being so often played with by her older sister too.)

Bree

She loves to imitate things we say more and more. If she is getting into something or doing something she shouldn’t, I have a habit of saying, “No, no, no, no, no.” She incorporates this into her own talking now, usually toward Adrianna when Adrianna is trying to pick her up or take something away from her, by saying, “Na, na, na!” So cute.

She also imitates our actions. I bought her a toothbrush and we got it out for the first time tonight. She instantly opened her mouth for me so I could brush her teeth. Then she wanted me to open my mouth so she could brush mine. Such a quick learner.

I will ask her “What does the bear say?” and she quickly comes back with the cutest little baby gravelly roar.

She loves music. This includes playing her own music on the keyboard or musical toys or “dancing” (bouncing) to whatever music I may have playing.

Bree

She still does not sleep through the night. *sigh*

She is starting to get a little picky about what she eats. Bummer. But mashed potatoes can mask peas and roast pretty good, and she loves mashed potatoes.

Speaking of eating, I may or may not have caught her drinking out of the dog’s dish the other day. All I know is she was holding a spoon and smacking her lips (she likes to pretend she is eating with it when she plays) and she was by the dog’s water and there were some drips on the floor. Hmmm… She is her mother’s daughter, I suppose.

Our beautiful Breezy girl.
