Over the past four years, I had accumulated quite an array of store hangers from the many clothes that Adrianna has quickly grown in and out of. After amassing a closet full, I decided enough was enough. I didn’t want to just throw them away, so I decided to look into donating them. Turns out, the donation centers here don’t accept them. And the children’s resale place didn’t need them.
I had recalled seeing a bin of hangers at Walmart so, on a whim, I called Walmart and asked if they had accepted them. The first person I spoke to had no idea what I was talking about, so they transferred me to customer service. Customer service then gave me the wonderful news that YES, they would accept all of my store hangers. I am not sure if they actually reuse them or if they just recycle them, but it felt good to get them out of Adrianna’s closet and being able to keep them out of the local landfill.
