I needed a break from the news tonight, so I asked Greg to help me record a song on the ukulele that he bought me for Christmas. It’s been so much fun to learn to play so far! The song is “Come Sail Away” by Styx. Please tell me I wasn’t the only one that […]

Come Little Children
I’ve been enjoying Greg‘s latest recording project and thought you might, too. Here’s his [rock] arrangement of “Come Little Children.” (Inspired by Erutan)
Guster
Tonight Greg and I had a date night at the Boulder Theater to see a Guster concert! Such a great show. We’d seen them a few years ago at Red Rocks (which is always awesome), but this venue had such a different feel for their performance. It was smaller, more intimate, and I think the […]
Son Volt
Son Volt concert last night, to celebrate our birthdays. (I surprised Greg with the tickets, which I had put into the case of a new Son Volt CD that I gave him for his birthday.) Attending live shows is one of our favorite things to do together.
Pink Martini
Pink Martini with the Colorado Symphony at Red Rocks. Our third time to see them live (second time to see them at Red Rocks) and it was awesome. The perfect evening with the perfect date. Opening for them was Mary Chapin Carpenter.
Squirrel Nut Zippers
Ready for Squirrel Nut Zippers! (Along with a photo bomber. LOL)
Beauty and the Beast
Beauty and the Beast at BDT Stage. It was an amazing show! The Gaston song and Be Our Guest were incredible and my personal favorites! My girls were enchanted and we all had lots of laughs, too. The little girls are wearing the dresses that Grammy made.
Mary Poppins
Mary Poppins! The little girls were singing “Chim-Chimminee†all the way home. Thanks to Dad and Debbie for a fun afternoon at the Candlelight Dinner Theater.
Cake
We got to see Cake in concert for the second time. It was at a brewery, and we foolishly showed up early, not realizing that most of the day was meant for drinking and the actual show wasn’t to start until much, MUCH later. But we enjoyed the show nonetheless.
Mad Caddies
Last night, Greg and I got to see the Mad Caddies perform again in Denver. (This was my third time to see them live, Greg’s fourth. ) Opening for them was Jon Gazi and Younger Than Neil. It was an awesome show!
