Tonight Greg and I had a date night at the Boulder Theater to see a Guster concert! Such a great show. We’d seen them a few years ago at Red Rocks (which is always awesome), but this venue had such a different feel for their performance. It was smaller, more intimate, and I think the […]

Son Volt
Son Volt concert last night, to celebrate our birthdays. (I surprised Greg with the tickets, which I had put into the case of a new Son Volt CD that I gave him for his birthday.) Attending live shows is one of our favorite things to do together.
Pink Martini
Pink Martini with the Colorado Symphony at Red Rocks. Our third time to see them live (second time to see them at Red Rocks) and it was awesome. The perfect evening with the perfect date. Opening for them was Mary Chapin Carpenter.
Squirrel Nut Zippers
Ready for Squirrel Nut Zippers! (Along with a photo bomber. LOL)
Gig
Greg’s band had a gig tonight.
Cake
We got to see Cake in concert for the second time. It was at a brewery, and we foolishly showed up early, not realizing that most of the day was meant for drinking and the actual show wasn’t to start until much, MUCH later. But we enjoyed the show nonetheless.
Mad Caddies
Last night, Greg and I got to see the Mad Caddies perform again in Denver. (This was my third time to see them live, Greg’s fourth. ) Opening for them was Jon Gazi and Younger Than Neil. It was an awesome show!
Weezer
Last night, Greg and I had a date night and went to see Weezer at Fiddler’s Green. Great show! They did some cool covers of Aha’s “Take on Me”, Toto’s “Africa”, and The Turtles’ “Happy Together”, to name a few. They also did all of their own greatest hits, including “Undone (The Sweater Song)”, “Say […]
Wailin’ Jennys
We got to see the Wailin’ Jennys in concert again, this time at the Boulder Theater. This was our second time to see them live, and they were fantastic. They sing and harmonize so beautifully. And play so many different instruments! They sang my two favorite songs (Arlington and Glory Bound), along with some new […]
Fleet Foxes
Waiting for Fleet Foxes to take the stage at Red Rocks!! It is a beautiful, crisp, Colorado fall evening. Spoke too soon about the rain though. Drizzling now! It was worth it though. So amazing. The music, the harmonies, the lead singer’s manbun, all of it. I wish our seats had been closer, but getting […]
