Introduced Bree (age 6) and Cate (age 3) to the awesomeness that is Breakfast Machine. They keep asking me to play it again and think PeeWee is pretty funny. Bree calls it the “phone song” because I had it as my ring tone for a long time.

Make-up
Cater-tot got to play with makeup with our babysitter tonight. It looks like she was pretty thrilled about it.
Flying Ponies
Today’s drawings by Bree and Cate of flying ponies. You can see that Cate’s drawing is definitely influenced by how her older sister draws her ponies.
Bird Banding Field Trip
One of the highlights of our field trip to Barr Lake State Park yesterday was when Adrianna got to release one of the birds after it had been banded. It sat in her hand and had to be coaxed to fly away, much to Adrianna’s delight. I love Cate’s “binoculars.” Especially since she has a […]
Burning Up
Bree often takes things we say literally, which can sometimes be pretty funny, but it can also cause her anxiety until we explain what the idiom or whatever we said *really* means. Adrianna is taking […]
An F
“Look, Mom! I drew an F!”

Location, location
Cate told me today that Grammy and Grampy, “Need to move their house close to our house so we can go to Grammy and Grampy’s house.”
Recordings
I think I just need to make a recording of myself saying, “Adrianna, stop causing problems with your sisters…Bree, stop screaming / whining…Cate, do you need to go potty?…Cate, come HERE…Cate, you need to listen to Mommy…” and then just put it on repeat. It would save me a lot of time and a lot […]
