One of the highlights of our field trip to Barr Lake State Park yesterday was when Adrianna got to release one of the birds after it had been banded. It sat in her hand and had to be coaxed to fly away, much to Adrianna’s delight.
I love Cate’s “binoculars.” Especially since she has a real pair hanging around her neck. And I think Adrianna’s are upside down!
