When all three girls are playing nicely together, school can wait.

My girls attend a wonderful homeschool group one day a week where they get awesome elective classes such as Art, Destination Imagination, Book Club, Young Entrepreneurs, Choir, Dance, etc. One of Bree’s 1st grade classes this year is Spanish/Music. This was a recent paper she brought home and it just made me laugh. In the […]
Fabio
A beautiful afternoon for a ride with her horse, Fabio. Thankful for the faithful volunteers, like Mark, who make our horseback riding sessions such a success.
Portrait of Bree
Adrianna drew a picture of Bree today. I think it is a pretty good resemblance. She did use Sketch Wizard (shows reflections of pictures for drawing purposes) to help with the placement of the facial features, but I am still pretty impressed.
Great Wolf Lodge
I wish I had photos of our time in the water park, but we didn’t bring our phones in. We all had a wonderful mini-vacation. It was fun to have Karen and Zach join us, too. And we got a great deal on the room prices by going with a large homeschool group. We stayed […]
Basketball
Today was Bree’s first basketball game with Upwards Sports. She doesn’t know the rules yet, but she ran a lot and I am so proud of her for trying something new. (And she is the only girl on her team!) Bree said it was fun. She was a little overwhelmed by all the action and […]
Sledding
The girls are sledding down the slight incline in our backyard.
Quiet Cate
We are on day two of “Quiet Cate.” She has a sore throat and nasty cold and it hurts her to talk, so she just answers me with shakes of the head or whispers. So sad. You would think that would make my house 1/3 quieter, but unfortunately it hasn’t. Bree is jealous that SHE […]
Breezy is 7
Today, we celebrated the 7th birthday of our second born, Bree Nova. Our rainbow baby and bright star. Bree is in 1st grade this year and enjoys books, numbers, puzzles, and drawing. Her favorite class at her homeschool co-op is Art; at home, it is probably Math. She loves the concept of the googolplex. Bree […]
Bosom
The little girls have latched on to certain words that they think are absolutely hilarious. For a few weeks, their favorite word has been “bottom” and they giggle every time they hear it or say it. Today, they have found a new word they like: bosom. (Thanks, Nanny McPhee movie, for that one.) After they’d […]
