We are on day two of “Quiet Cate.” She has a sore throat and nasty cold and it hurts her to talk, so she just answers me with shakes of the head or whispers. So sad. You would think that would make my house 1/3 quieter, but unfortunately it hasn’t. Bree is jealous that SHE isn’t sick, too, and has been whining about the unfairness of it all.
Although Cate has slowed down a bit due to not feeling well, her orneriness is still on display occasionally, such as the time yesterday where I discovered that she and Bree had sneaked play-doh up into a bedroom, whereupon some got mashed into the carpet.
