Adrianna participated in a local talent show last night, playing a song from the Nintendo video game, Kirby Star Allies. She won 1st in her age/category, so now she gets to perform again at the “State” contest next week! She’s pretty thrilled (and we as her parents are quite proud!)

Typos
Even though I am now into my forties (dang, that sounds so much older than I feel!), I still cannot help but giggle like a middle-schooler when I see someone accidentally mistype “public” as “pubic” in a Facebook group.
Florida Trip (Part 1)
A visit to NASA. It rained the entire day, but we still had a fun and inspiring visit at the Kennedy Space Center on Cape Canaveral. I think Greg probably enjoyed it the most though. (Adrianna totally gets her love of space from her Dad! ) Visiting the Space Center was a “bucket list” item for […]
Snow
The girls couldn’t wait to get outside when they saw the big, beautiful snowflakes yesterday.
Cate is Six
This week, we celebrated Cate’s 6th birthday. I sometimes think we should’ve made her middle name to be Joy, because that is what she brings to our family and it describes her general spirit, too. She has lots of big theological questions and a tender heart full of faith, but also tends to be a […]
Distracted
When you are listening to an audio book using earbuds and start filling up the sink to wash dishes but then get distracted wiping down counters, you may end up with a waterfall in your kitchen.
Breezy is Nine
This week, we are celebrating the 9th birthday of our rainbow baby, Bree Nova. Our Breezy girl continues to bring us so much joy with her creativity and her sweet love for her sisters. She is in third grade this year and is enjoying her classes at her homeschool electives school (Art, Maker Space, PE, […]
Rush Hour
We were in south Denver for an appointment this week. As we were starting for home, I warned the girls that it would take awhile because we were hitting rush hour. Cate piped up, “But I thought *rush* hour meant we would go faster!?” If only that were the case!
Working With Dad
The girls love “working” in the garage with Greg. Safety glasses and all. And…I just noticed Bree is wearing my sandals. So now I have TWO kids who are borrowing my shoes!!
Tap Dance Recital
Tap Dance Recital this evening. Cutest little Santa ever! They danced to “Santa Claus is Coming to Town” (The Jackson 5 version.)
