This week, we are celebrating the 9th birthday of our rainbow baby, Bree Nova. Our Breezy girl continues to bring us so much joy with her creativity and her sweet love for her sisters.
She is in third grade this year and is enjoying her classes at her homeschool electives school (Art, Maker Space, PE, Brain Games, and Science.)
Bree still loves My Little Pony, horses, and sea horses. She has added snails and snail shells to her list of interests this year and can often be found in our backyard, perusing the ground for minuscule shells. She loves the mountains and hiking. She has started playing the piano for fun, and has composed a couple little ditties, including one compilation with Cate that they call “Whoopie-Cushion Eeyah” (her childhood toy is a seahorse named Eeyah) and another one about a pony named “Tricker-Song.” She also loves to draw and creates wonderful pictures of My Little Ponies in their “Magical World”, often including lift-a-flaps to see hidden scenery behind.
She still rides horses every week (the perfect therapy for our horse-loving girl!) and has also started occupational therapy again, which we call “play therapy” because honestly, she thinks getting to play in the big gym with all the sensory toys and swings is great fun!
