I took Adrianna for her first pedicure. I thought it would be a fun way for us girls to spend an afternoon together. She seemed to really enjoy it and giggled quite a bit when her feet were scrubbed. What about me, Mom?

The Toy Threat
Adrianna and I cleaned up the loft/playroom a little bit this afternoon in anticipation of Greg’s plan to begin installing some adjustable custom shelves into the closet. After we got the floor picked up, Adrianna flounced back into the room, eyes opened wide for emphasis, and told me in a serious voice, “Now I’d better […]
6 Month Comparison
Here is a photo comparison of myself and my two little girls, each of us at six months of age. (You can click on it for a slightly larger version.)
MomMomMom
Bree has discovered a new sound/babble and I just love it. The sound of her little voice babbling “MomMomMom” is so adorable and so is the way the whole lower half of her face is involved in saying it.
Bree’s First Rice Cereal
Bree had her first taste of rice cereal today. I had been meaning to start her on it for a week now but nursing is so much more convenient and ultimately less hassle, so I ended up procrastinating on it until today. As expected, Bree didn’t know what to do when I first stuck the […]

Legos
Both of our girls love Legos. Although perhaps for different reasons. We bought a large multi-drawer container for all of our Legos tonight. I can hear Greg downstairs playing with…Er, I mean “organizing” the Legos now.
Greg’s Father’s Day Card
I ran across an awesome idea for a Father’s Day card at C.R.@.F.T (Creating really awesome free things) and I just had to copy it for my card to Greg this Father’s Day. I really like how it turned out. I did my best to layout and design the card as if it were an […]
A Week in Kansas
With Greg’s new job as a Contractor, he doesn’t receive paid vacation. But he can work remotely since he normally telecommutes anyway. So when a couple of special events were coming up in Kansas earlier this month that we wanted to attend, Greg decided to see how telecommuting from somewhere other than home would go. […]
Vacation Bible School
Wow, time is really slipping away from me. Has it really been several weeks since I have posted? Time for some catch-up posts! I found out from a friend on Facebook that the church I grew up in was having Vacation Bible School during the first week in June. This friend’s father was going to […]
