S’more
A little 1997 #TBT for Janis and Cindy as they said goodbye to their dog, S’more, this week. Our sweet dogs Buddy, Missy, and Shirley, with S’more as a puppy. They are all reunited over the rainbow bridge, along with my Chloe and Molly. *tear*
Barbershop
I get my love of singing from my dad. He is currently a part of a barbershop group in northern Colorado offering singing Valentines.
Oktoberfest
Just returned from Oktoberfest in downtown Denver. Got to cheer on my sister’s dachshie in the weiner dog races (she made it to the semifinals). Seeing so many adorable dachshunds really has me missing my Molly and Chloe. I sure wish I could talk Greg into letting us get another one soon.
Durango Trip
A friend of the Reimer family let us stay in their second home in Durango, where we had a beautiful and fun family vacation. We had a fun train trip from Durango to Silverton with the Reimers. The girls loved it! The little girls even got a short nap. We also visited Mesa Verde, which […]
Lemonade Stand
The Kids did good with their lemonade stand… I think the scooter advertising really helped bring in the customers. 🙂 Â Shucking corn for dinner. Family game night – Balderdash Aunt Karen feeding Cate.
Time With Nanna
Swimming at Broomfield Bay. She doesn’t want to swim, but she likes walking in the water. Adrianna likes to float on her back like Nanna. The girls had fun dressing Nanna up like a princess.

Referring to #1, big glass things can be broken in weird and unexpected ways (e.g. By barely touching them) Karen can also attest to this. 3. Not related to #1 or 2, but if you put even the […]
Pony Ride
Highlight of Bree’s day yesterday: When our neighbor pointed out a small garden snake in our yard and pulled it out of its hiding place so Bree could see it. But I think the highlight of her week was getting to go to a farm and ride a real pony. It was all she can […]
Family Reunion
First, we got to have Godfather’s Pizza! A must anytime we are traveling through the Omaha area! 🙂 Karen rode with me since Greg couldn’t come, which was really nice. She was a big help with the little girls. On the way home, we even got to visit a lookout tower, with Grandpa, at a […]
