We’ve learned that by the time we hear Cate sadly call out, “I don’t want to go pee in my panties!” it is too late. She already has.
Thankfully, this is happening less and less. And thankfully, the accidents have all been at home so far because I keep forgetting to pack extra outfits when we go out! I haven’t carried a diaper bag around since child #2, and even then, it was packed much lighter than it was with child #1. It is funny how some things are more relaxed with each child that comes along.
And we gave away the potty chair yesterday. This is one milestone that I am not too sad to pass for the last time. Now if only it weren’t so hard to pack/give away the clothes that Cate has outgrown, some outfits that had been worn by all three girls…
