Cate had her surgery today. Everything went well, but she is having a lot of pain and said she could feel the “needles†in her arm. 
(They inserted two pins to stabilize the bone and joint.) They gave her some pain meds and so now she is feeling better and sleeping. We should get to go home soon, I think.
Edited 12:30pm MST: We are home! The pain meds have kicked in and she is doing great! We are all going to take it easy today and watch lots of Netflix.
