Yesterday we attended A Christmas Carol performance. This was Cate’s first live play/musical and Bree’s second. They both did great, though they were a little wiggly toward the end. We all especially liked the appearance of the ghost of Marley and the “snow” that fell on the audience at the end. 
Later in the day, Karen, Adrianna, and I played a game of Settlers of Catan (with the Cities and Knights expansion.) It was a long game, but awesome because all three of us were at 12 points when Karen finally got the last VP to win the game. Close games are the best and I really enjoy the extra VP strategies that this expansion provides.
