Anyone else like to geek out and keep track of the numbers rolled when playing a game of Settlers of Catan? No? Just us? It’s fun seeing how the numbers stack up against their probability. Last night was a rarity with only three 7s rolled! (Which was nice, since I despise that dang robber!)

Alternate Blokus
An alternate way to play the game of Blokus #mylittlepony #rainbowdash
Cities and Knights
One of my favorite ways to spend an evening. Hanging out at Karen’s house, playing Settlers of Catan. #settlersofcatan#citiesandknights Tonight, we tried some new expansions (Fish, Caravan).
Chutes n’ Ladders
A double-decker Chutes and Ladders game. Twice the frustration, twice the angst. And then, twice the tears.

Rock Band Camp
Adrianna attended “Rock Band Camp” last week. For only three hours a day, she and her bandmates learned two cover tunes and composed an original song together. Last night was their concert. Her band consisted of two guitar players, a drummer, a lead singer, and Adrianna on the keyboard. (And their instructor/mentor filled in on […]
Settlers of Catan
Adrianna has won 2 of the last 3 games of Settlers of Catan. But this is a win for me, too, because now she wants to play it more. #myFavoriteGame #citiesAndKnights
Spring Violin Recital
Adrianna had her Spring 2018 Violin Recital this weekend. She played a fiddle piece called “Cluck Old Hen.” I love that it included plucking and double-stops (playing two notes at once.)
Blokus
We have *finally* gotten to the stage where we can all play a board game together that is NOT Candyland or Chutes and Ladders. (Thank goodness!) #milestone #Blokus
