New(ish) basement. This summer, our unfinished basement transformed into our favorite space in our house. Perhaps because it is the only floor that was created and designed, top to bottom, with a layout and theme that we chose.
We still have more decorating to do and more boxes of books to unpack and load up on our new shelves (Yay!), but it is coming along nicely. Now we are anxious to redo the rest of our house but our savings account says that we’d better wait for awhile on that.
