Grace University celebrated its 75th anniversary this year. It also happened to be its final year (sadly), so Greg and I decided that we should definitely make it to the final alumni reunion. The weekend was bittersweet. We are incredibly thankful that we were able to see some of our friends from our time in Omaha (though there are many more that we missed due to time constraints!) We are saddened by the university’s closing. We have so many happy memories from our time there. We made amazing friendships there. Greg and I met there. Greg’s parents met there. His Grandfather also attended there. It is a part of our history.
One of the highlights of my Grace University career was my time in the Grace Chorale and in the Ambassadors (a traveling singing group.) The chorale had an alumni reunion concert the final evening and it was such a thrill to sing beside dear friends again (even if it was harder to hit those high notes than it was 17+ years ago!) #GU75th
We were able to go to the Spaghetti Factory with the Green Family while in Omaha. It was great to catch up with them.
