Adrianna got to attend a Maker Camp, where she worked on several fun projects. She used a wood-burning tool to make Greg a Father’s Day present, a 3-D pen to make glasses frames, and also used a Cameo to create her own Undertale shirt (using an Undertale font and graphic.)
She’ll get to go again in July and can’t wait! She will also be taking a Maker class at Summit next year. I am glad she gets these extra opportunities to be creative, using both hands-on tools and technology.
This is her 2nd year attending this camp through a local charter school, and she also attended their Gaming Club during the school year (playing Minecraft, Starbound, and Terraria.) She has always been the only attendee that doesn’t attend their actual charter school; I think we got lucky to find out about it last year.
