Our family is delighted to share that we’ve added a new member to our household. Meet Moose! She is a chocolate dapple mini-dachshund and is as sweet as can be. We’re all pretty smitten with her and it is so nice to have a dog around the house again.
I’d been stalking a bunch of local rescue websites for awhile now, searching for a miniature dachshund. There aren’t many dachshies to be found, so I feel like we won the lottery to have found such a great one. Moose is 5.5 years old, already house-trained, and very friendly with people and other dogs.
And now we can make all the wiener[dog] jokes again.
