Taught the little girls how to play Settlers of Catan this week. They were on a “team” together, which helped save some of the normal frustrations and jealousies. [Greg won, in case anyone is wondering.]
We’ve been doing the social distancing since last Thursday and so far, it’s been going great. We’ve had lots of extra time to play board games as a family, read books, and get our normal homeschooling done. We are taking walks every evening for our mental health. Sometimes all five of us go so that the little girls can get out some of their energy, and sometimes just Greg and I, so that we can have some time alone to chat and connect. Â #DoingMyPartCO
I’m so thankful for technology to keep us connected to friends and family during this time. Our family group text has been extra chatty lately, which has been awesome. It’s also been wonderful receiving messages from our church family, seeing neighbors offering to help neighbors via Nextdoor, and all the educational resources being offered online for free!
