After many hours of shopping at a lot of different stores, we finally picked out some furniture for our living room. (We donated our couch, loveseat, 2 end tables, and a coffee table right before getting our hardwood floors. They will be going to Lutheran Family Services to furnish an apartment for a newly resettled refugee family!)
We’ve moved the living room to what was formerly the front room / playroom. It feels really different to be sitting in there, able to look out the front window at the neighborhood. But it will be nice to not have a bunch of toys to greet people at the door when they come visit though! Now we just need to get a tall bookshelf for the wall, a couple of lamps, perhaps some curtains, and an area rug. Thinking about a small table to go between the two chairs and a narrow table to go behind the couch – we’ll see!
