For our second Christmas this year, we were in Kansas with Greg’s family.
On the 25th, we had a little birthday celebration for Bree and Cate, complete with a fancy rainbow cake made by Grammy (and decorated by Adrianna.) It was very impressive and the girls were thrilled and surprised by the rainbow inside!
We also had a Christmas gift exchange and received some wonderful presents!

Adrianna: warm nightgown and Pun Intended game from Grammy and Grampy, pretty scarf from Jeff and Jess
Bree: My Little Pony jammies, My Little Pony activity book, Qbitz game, and toy birds from Grammy and Grampy, notebook and pattern book Jeff and Jess
Cate: My Little Pony jammies, My Little Pony activity book, and squishmallows and toy birds from Grammy and Grampy, sparkly crayons from Jeff and Jess
I forgot to write everything down, so I may be forgetting a thing or two! But it was a fun time. We also had an impromptu story or talent sharing time, which was enjoyable. The little girls shared short stories, Bree and Adrianna both played piano, Greg played a Mario song on guitar, and I played and sang “Hallelujah” on guitar.
Uncle Wendall was also in attendance for the week, which was so nice since we don’t get the opportunity to see him often.
We missed the Fenders though!!
