Bree took a Creative Writing class at a nearby public library this Sunday (today) and last Sunday. In the first class, she worked on making a story chart to show the place, the characters, and some details about the characters. This one took place in “The Magical World” and included her made up ponies of Bubbin (a boy), Bubb (a girl), and a new creature she has called a Hummingbug, which is both a boy and a girl at the same time. (She wanted equal amounts of boys and girls in the story, she said.)
In the second class, she made a few frames of a comic/story with Bubb and Bubbin visiting an underground world called Bubucin (pronounced Bubbakin). My personal favorite part of this comic is the frame showing Bubbin pulling clothing out of the dresser – she is so great with facial expressions – look at Bubb’s face as a bow lands on it!
