Now that Bree has taken a real interest in Adrianna’s toys, they had their first sharing fight today. Bree had a toy cell phone that Adrianna really likes, especially since I just replaced the batteries in it last night so that it makes noise again.
When Adrianna heard Bree playing with it, she came into the loft from her bedroom and grabbed it from Bree. Bree began wailing. I instructed Adrianna to return the phone to Bree and that she is not allowed to steal toys away when Bree has them first. Adrianna cried.
I know that this is only the beginning.
They often do play together pretty well. Bree just loves to be wherever Adrianna is. She loves to watch everything Adrianna does. Adrianna does get irritated when Bree accidentally (or purposely) knocks over her Lego houses or messes up the blankets she has neatly arranged on the floor to be picnics or beds. But I cannot help but smile when I see them playing and interacting together.
Today we had a quick little tea party that Adrianna had arranged in her bedroom. In attendance were myself, Adrianna, Bree, Molly and two baby dolls.
