Super Mario and Valentines Artwork

I think we have a budding artist on our hands. Adrianna LOVES to draw and makes the cutest pictures. I love how her characters are always smiley.

Adrianna wakes up earlier than me on the non-school mornings and she loves to create special pictures and bring them to me in bed.

Here is an envelope she wrote to me. (Greg dictated the letters of the message she wanted to write.) Valentines was already several days past, but that didn’t matter. It was still a beautiful gift.

And here is the drawing contained within the envelope of some adorable butterflies and violets.

I thought this was a creative way to utilize some smiley face stickers I’d given her.

I know we have talked about the Super Mario Brothers game on here a lot lately, but it truly gets a lot of discussion in our household as well, so naturally some of that is going to spill over into here. She drew a picture of some of the Super Mario Brothers characters and did a pretty good job capturing their outfits/hats and their appropriate colors. From left to right, it is Luigi (or “Wiji” as Adrianna pronounces it), Yellow Toad, Mario, and the Blue Toad. Above them with the frowny faces (the only frowny faces I can remember ever seening her draw) are some of the “bad guys” from the game.
