Have you ever had a special event where you ended up with TONS of pictures and found yourself agonizing over how to include as many as possible in your scrapbook layouts? If you are like me, that can be a tough thing and even make you procrastinate on finishing your layouts simply because you feel overwhelmed.
I found myself in this situation recently as I started to sit down and think about scrapping my daughter’s 3rd birthday party. We had over 250 pictures to choose from since all family members contributed pictures from their cameras too. Which, btw, is a great way to get many perspectives and candid shots.
I think I sat down at my computer for a couple days, waiting for inspiration to come. How could I choose among so many great pictures without making an entire book of layouts for this one event? And after choosing, did my photos convey enough about the event and all the people who were involved? And that is how it came to be that the next few templates I share will be very picture-heavy. They are simple templates with few embellishments, but I know that you can think of ways to dress them up. Or you can leave them free of many embellishments and just let the pictures do the talking too.
Here is my layout. I know it looks sorta plain, but I was able to capture all of the people who were at Casa Bonita’s with us, so I felt that was more important than squeezing in any extras.
I know this may look like an easy layout to make, but I take great care in lining up all of the picture layers both horizontally and vertically on the templates/layouts I create. It drives me crazy when photos aren’t quite lined up, you know?

Thanks so much for the template. Great way to use multiple photos!
Thanks for the template Amber! I’m in Newton now, so I can’t download it to my computer, but if it’s still up later this week I will grab it. Otherwise, I think I can swing a buck to get it from your store 🙂 I like all the spots for photos, and I think I might try it with just a few pics and some papers in the rest of the blocks – I will definitely try it out!! Thanks!!
