We spent an afternoon in Yosemite National Park. Parking was awful, but once we found a spot, we enjoyed a leisurely hike along a river, taking in the sights. El Capitan was truly magnificent!

Moab
We stayed the night with Greg’s former coworker from his Sun Microsystems days, Andrew, and his family at their home in Moab, Utah. The first day we were there, they took us to Dead Horse Canyon. (We didn’t tell Bree what the name of the place was.) While we were there, we heard a rumbling […]

Zoo Trip
We had a nice afternoon at the Denver Zoo. The girls enjoyed the new water feature / play area near the polar bears. I love the toddler hair. Her hair is getting so long. (She’s had several trims already.) My baby is growing up too quickly. I love kissing those cheeks!
Bree-isms
Bree is a clever and logical kid. She continues to amaze me with the things she observes and says. One morning recently, Bree was in our bedroom. (She often runs in the moment she knows I am awake, usually right after she hears me flush the toilet.) Greg asked her to leave the bedroom for […]
Lunch with Dad
Lunch Date with Dad at SliceWorks in downtown Denver.
Gymnastics
Bree’s last day of gymnastics was this week. They always commemorate with a little award ceremony. Bree, who often only responds when her coaches call her “Rainbow Dash”, even crawled up the stairs as a pony to receive her medal. I am thankful for understanding and caring coaches who give patient and enthusiastic care to […]

Last Day of Preschool
Bree’s last day of preschool. Now on to Kindergarten next year!
MarioKart
Greg, Adrianna, and I were playing MarioKart tonight. I was complaining about driving off the edge yet again when Bree piped up, “You do know how to steer, don’t you?” My sweet Bree. She was being totally serious and didn’t understand why we all started laughing. She is SO funny but so literal.
