Thankful
Today I am thankful for a new church home and community (even if it requires stepping out of this introvert’s comfort zone!), sweet friends with whom I can share real life struggles, a husband who encourages me to take regular time off for myself, and the joy of watching my daughters delight in the wonder […]
Classic Sibling Arguments
Some of these feel like everyday occurrences at our house. Greg had to hide certain My Little Pony and Minnie Mouse cups, and then we bought all plain, generic, matching ones so we wouldn’t have to listen to those arguments every meal.
Family Photos
We got family photos taken today. I captured this silly face by Cate. I love these silly and sweet girlies.
Beautiful Compliment

Bree was playing nearby and made a comment, “That is beautiful.” Surprised and thinking it had to do with her play, I asked her what she was talking about and she told me, “Your voice.” I couldn’t believe it. Especially coming from […]
Minecraft
Bree drew a “Minecraft Minnie Mouse” and a “Minecraft My Little Pony.”
Dream Big
We have a toy that says “Dream Big” on it, so I was explaining to Cate and Bree that this was different than our dreams while sleeping but more things we might imagine or hope for our futures. I gave the example of maybe someone would dream to become an astronaut and travel to space […]
Breakfast Machine
Introduced Bree (age 6) and Cate (age 3) to the awesomeness that is Breakfast Machine. They keep asking me to play it again and think PeeWee is pretty funny. Bree calls it the “phone song” because I had it as my ring tone for a long time.
My Little Pony Memory
Bree playing “My Little Pony Memory” with Heartsy and Eeyah. If I remember right, Eeyah won.
Flying Ponies
Today’s drawings by Bree and Cate of flying ponies. You can see that Cate’s drawing is definitely influenced by how her older sister draws her ponies.
