We have a toy that says “Dream Big” on it, so I was explaining to Cate and Bree that this was different than our dreams while sleeping but more things we might imagine or hope for our futures.
I gave the example of maybe someone would dream to become an astronaut and travel to space when Bree piped up, “Or I could dream to be Princess *Rainbow Dash and live in a castle!” Yep, my little rainbow girl dreams big. (This is the same child who also wishes desperately that she could fly.)
*Rainbow Dash is her favorite My Little Pony.
