When I picked Adrianna up from school, she was so excited to tell me all about a naughty leprechaun who had visited her school. He had knocked over some green paint in the classroom and tracked it all over the counters and desks, written on the whiteboard and completed some other mischief. The children followed his tracks and found a pot of gold (AKA rocks painted with sparkly gold paint).
She talked about this leprechaun visit for weeks afterwards. Here is a video of her talking about it the day after the leprechaun’s visit.
According to this paper she completed at her Junior Kindergarten, it ended up being one of her favorite days of school.
