I Want My Mommy

Adrianna is getting really good at bedtime stall tactics. After putting her to bed, covering her up and leaving the room, she will think of something she wants to have in her crib with her (joining 10 other various stuffed animals already present) and loudly request it. Or, she will kick off her covers and shout, “Mommy, cubbah up! Daddy, cubbah up!”

When these tactics don’t work, she pulls out the clincher. She starts to cry and in a really pathetic and mournful voice, she will cry out, “I want my Mommy. I want my Mommy.” I tell you what; this really tugs at my heart strings and is hard to resist.
