Teaching a child to read is *not* one of my favorite things about homeschooling. It surely does try my patience. (Although I have to say that teaching place value is giving teaching reading a run for its money this year.)
Progress IS being made, but oh, it’s so S…..L……O……W……
On the flip side, watching my children grow and learn IS one of my favorite things. I know once these concepts click that we will both have a great feeling of accomplishment. I just hope that day comes quickly, for both our sakes.
