Today we celebrated our Breezy-girl’s 8th birthday. Our sweet rainbow baby that we longed and prayed for. She still loves all things My Little Pony, seahorses, horses, and rainbows. She enjoys being in water and jumping on the trampoline and riding her horse, Fabio. Ever creative, she likes to make “lift-a-flap” pictures, board games, or comic book sequences, usually with My Little Ponies as the characters, along with some made-up ponies called “Bubbin” and “Bub” and a horse named “Pepperoni Horse.”
Bree still likes to line things up by color, particularly in the order of the colors found in a rainbow. She is protective of her little sister, Cate, and often can be found wandering into trouble *with* Cate because she is supposedly trying to keep Cate safe. Reading is still slow-going (though progressing), but she likes math and numbers and enjoys being read to. She is still taking piano lessons and she enjoys music and singing. Her play often involves made up tunes that she and Cate have their ponies sing. She loves being outside in nature and appreciates its beauty, particularly when taking walks in the mountains. She often looks forward to road trips to new places or to go to the same places to see family. We love our unique and sweet little girl so very much. Like I tell my girls regularly, they are each such a precious gift to us.
