I was enjoying the rain until our house developed a leak in the front room. Fingers-crossed that the entire roof doesn’t need replacing and that it is only this one area.
I can see water pooling under the sheetrock (along with a big stain on the ceiling) and afraid it is going to give soon. I made them move all their toys that are underneath the area, just in case!
Someone is coming tomorrow afternoon to take a look at it.
Cate is already saying that she is worried we’ll have to go swimming in our house and get a new house.
Update: Hopefully the sealant they put on it will help for now (although it was cold and rainy, so I’m not sure how well it will work since it technically should be warmer and dry for best results). BUT, we have hail damage and need a new roof. Boo. Called insurance today so we’ll see how that goes.
