White Fence Farm

On a recommendation from our neighbor, we had dinner at White Fence Farm in Lakewood yesterday. I am so glad we did. It is such a family friendly place. We ended up staying there for almost three whole hours.

After we ate, we headed over to a lodge that I know my father-in-law would love for the timber frame architecture. Beautiful. There was live country/bluegrass music which we enjoyed while Adrianna spent her time playing with many toys and books in a playhouse. At the top of every hour, they also open up a slide that extends from the upstairs to the downstairs. That looked like it was a big hit among the older kids.

It was a beautiful evening, so we eventually wandered back outside and took a few pictures at the tree house and gazebo. We also fed some ducks (one even ate right out of my hand) and saw a couple coons along the river too.

We didn’t even make it to the petting zoo portion of the farm or browse through the country store, so I have a feeling we will be back. I highly recommend it and we will probably want to drag our families there at some point when they come visit us next.

  1. What a fun evening. Like Cindy, I like that last picture best. A horse, a sheep, and a little piggy! Who took your picture?

  2. Im jealous. That looks like so much fun. i wish I lived nearby so i could go. But you live in Colorado Springs, right? Im going to tell my bestfriend about it.
