Thank you everyone for your prayers, kind words, and thoughtful messages regarding my mom. They have helped immensely and have been encouraging to me.
They are discontinuing the chemotherapy for my mom’s leukemia. But she got to go home from the hospital on Tuesday evening. It turns out her balance and vision difficulties were caused by a stroke. She is very happy to be home and all four of us kids have been spending as much time up there as we can. Her brother also flew in yesterday, which has been a huge blessing. We have had a sweet time as a family, reminiscing and viewing old photos. And my dad has been amazing. I am proud of how he continues to fight with the doctors to make sure my mom gets what she needs and it has been an honor watching him take such good care of my mom.
