One of my favorite parts of our church is the small groups meetings I have with three friends, Kelly, Suzanne, and Lindsay. We typically have met a couple of times every month and discuss everything from what we’re studying in our “assigned” Bible reading, church, our families, and politics. It’s been such a blessing.

But of course, these meetings are one of the things that are affected by COVID-19 and social distancing. In March, we started meeting via Zoom. Which was nice to still meet, but is not a substitute for an in-person chat.

In June, we decided we’d all like to meet in person, especially since Kelly and her family were, by this time, planning a move to the Seattle area. We wanted to meet in person before their move! Luckily, we all are pretty similar in our comfort levels regarding social distancing, so we all agreed to meet outside, 6+ feet away, bringing our own chairs, and wearing masks. Meeting in person was so nice. So thankful for these women.
