I am spending the afternoon at the DMV with over a hundred other lucky souls. Delightful. I forgot the diaper bag, so hopefully Bree doesn’t get hungry or need a diaper change. So far she is being an angel and charming the lady next to me. Just hope it continues since we still have 60-70 people ahead of us.
This was the worst I have seen it. They recently closed one of their other locations (which is of course where I had went first) so I think the consolidation made it even more chaotic. I am glad to finally be done and home now.
Bree was a little angel for most of the time. I got worried about halfway through when she started crying and was acting hungry. Since I didn’t have the diaper bag with me, I didn’t have a blanket to cover up with to nurse. So I went out to the car and scrounged up a reusable cloth bag and Adrianna’s jacket to have on hand just in case! Thankfully I was able to keep Bree calm until it was time to get my picture taken. When I put Bree back in her carseat so I could do that, she was NOT happy. But a nice grandmotherly type entertained her and I was so grateful for her help. Other than that, she was a sweet baby who attracted a lot of smiles for people waiting nearby.
The funny thing is that the last time I had to get my license renewed was 5 years ago when Adrianna was a baby. And I remember Adrianna being a little charmer too. LOL.
