Around 10:30am on Monday, I walked to the Dublinia building to learn a little more about Vikings and their founding of the city of Dublin. I was able to get a combo ticket that included a self-guided tour of Christ Church Cathedral next door, too. This grand cathedral is only a few blocks from our AirBnB apartment.
Christ Church Cathedral is every bit as majestic and impressive on the inside as it is on the outside.
Many of the original floor tiles were broken when the roof collapsed at one point in the cathedral’s history. These are replicas of the originals.
And these floor tiles ARE originals that did not get crushed.
In the crypt!
